My name is Philip Sutherland and I am a student and artist from Cleveland, Ohio. I am currently studying Visual Arts & Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology, concentrating in Design and Game Design. In addition to my coursework, I create personal projects and take commissions. I work using a variety of methods, from drawing and painting to digital fabrication and programming. 

I like to follow my artistic passions wherever they lead, which has led to experience with many different disciplines and creative methods. I love to learn new mediums and processes to expand my horizons.

Overall, my work is concerned with the ways we cope with the human experience, and how we communicate it to each other. I think the most serious truths can only be accepted through an absurdist lens. I suppose you could say that I am dead serious about being silly.
